The meeting rooms were nice and the general atmosphere of the hotel was high end. The staff was very accommodating and responsive to anything we needed. A few days in and there was a very hard rain. Nearly half the breakfast lounge area was leaking badly. It seemed like they had to pull half the containers in the hotel to catch drips. Paint was falling from the ceiling and light housing were dripping. It seems like this is a basic thing that should absolutely not be a problem in a mid tier hotel.
Room was very nice and clean. Bed was a large King and cozy! Had a great night with my girlfriend before we headed home the following day.
Nice hotel stay while working in the area. Quiet room, comfortable bed & linens, clean bathroom, and friendly helpful staff all made this stay a nice experience. The only disappointing issue was that breakfast didn't start till 6:30 and I had to leave before that. Keep that in mind if you are considering a stay here. Otherwise great stay.
The First room was musty so they sent us to another and it was great. Their towels are so soft. Like unusually soft and they smelled good too unlike the Holiday Inn Express I stayed in the 2 nights before in Kansas, theirs were like sandpaper. The Breakfast is okay...certainly something there for any palate. The hotel host was unfriendly and welcoming. Had a great night's sleep. Overall Definitely recommended.
This hotel is owned by the same people that run the Interstate motel which is the run down place right next door that you have to drive by to get to the Holiday inn. That being said this hotel is cleaned by the same people that clean the interstate motel, and if you haven't read the reviews from the Interstate hotel as well as the reviews Talking about the smell of the rooms in the Holiday Inn then I strongly recommend you do so before you book here. It's dirty, hair on the bathroom floor trash under furniture and the beautiful musty moldy smell that accompanies some of the rooms. I started staying here when it was new (and clean) but it has slowly gone down hill and once I noticed the smell I vouched too never rent here again. All that being said I lit a incense to help my nauseated feeling from smelling the odor which brought the attention of the manager to our room where he reminded it us that we would lose our deposit if the room smelt like smoke in the morning which we knew it wouldn't because it smelt so much better than it did when we got there! Anyways we talked to the front desk about staying another night and they reminded us that we had lost our deposit although they hadn't smelled the room yet! A argument pursued where Denise at the front desk began cussing and yelling. So professional
