Absolutely loved our stay!! So beautiful and clean! Would recommend to any one.
In particular, Emerson, the GM is probably the most pleasant hotel staff member I've ever encountered in all of my travels.
Really clean and great hotel, big screen TV in the common area, great seating and access to business center. Front desk person was missing for about 30 minutes, but once he arrived he helped the people waiting (I was enjoying the common area as I saw that).
Front desk was pretty much non existent! Upon arrival waited 10 minutes plus for guy to come to check us in. Left for dinner and returned to no outside lights on....dark and uncomfortable to park and walk inside! Told the clerk...once we knock on the office door to get him to come out...he wasn't aware the lights weren't on. Next morning we informed the front desk that our bathroom light was a strobe light and to please have it fixed....didn't happen! We had to leave it off or throw up from the light! The front desk should have someone at all times! One lady said they waited 30 minutes to check in...another lady called the hotel and manager and didn't get an answer....we witnessed that.
Sooooo your hotel is beautiful and the rooms are great but you have a few but very important kinks to work out!
This is a great new hotel in Guthrie. The rooms are about what you'd expect, so no surprises there. Breakfast is great as always, and the staff are **incredibly** friendly. Some of the best I've ever encountered.
Very nice room! Spacious and modern! However, breakfast was lacking...no microwave to heat up muffins or cinnamon roll...no bacon or sausage offered...
My only knock is that I felt like there were some cases where I would have expected it to be a bit cleaner for a hotel so new. The shower already had some stains, and the carpet in the hallways was a bit dusty. Only interesting because of how new the place is, but otherwise a great stay!
New hotel but they need some work to get up to speed. We checked in on a Friday and out on Presidents day (2 nights) so they may have had a very limited staff. As one other review said, there is almost never any one at the front desk. You have to loudly try and get their attention. They stay in a back room behind the desk. Floors could use a much better vacumining than they were doing. Some of the same little pieces of whatever on our floor when we checked in were still there 2 days later. Same for the floors all over. The fire alarm went off at 12:30 or so. Fortunately there were not many of us staying Sunday night so we didn't have to evacuate. Why did it go off? Desk clerk said someone closed the bathroom door and took a hot steamy shower. Said it has happened before. Bet it happens again too! Sure didn't make our stay there any better. The beds are much more firm than we like. My wife & I tossed & turned all night both nights. Breakfast didn't have eggs or meat that I saw. Weekend thing? If you like creamed beef on hard biscuit or a waffle you will be fine. Staff is friendly and helpful when you can find them. Conference room worked well for our group.
