Great place to visit lots of Oklahoma history Carnegie Library is also attached lots of great history there
The employees are very kind & very respectful.
Nice use of the old Carnegie library. Learn more about the displacement of Native Americans and how Gutherie was the early Capitol of OK. For some reason the lights were not on for many exhibits making it hard to see displays and to read the information.
Very nice, very clean, very accurate. & If you have any questions, they will answer them for you.
& Very professional Military.
Enjoyed modest sized museum. Nice displays, good historical explanations.
Found this hidden gem from a highway sign. What a wonderful Informative museum. Hits all the highlights of the area....the land grab, statehood, Sooners and boomers....and the early settlements. I am so glad we came. Price is very reasonable and displays are thoughtful. Love the pics. A must see. We spent maybe 2 hours and read 85% of the signs. A quick but wonderful place to visit.
