Very friendly very willing to help customers find what they are looking for. Asks how customers are doing. Guthrie Oklahoma Walmart is highly recommended.
Six times I went out the doors and again the very very loud noise. Employees rush over to ask me for my receipt to make sure I paid for the thing that set off the noise.
Walmart Management before you rush to blame employees check the environment:
BUT I DO THINK THE PUBLIC NEEDS TO KNOW MORE OF YOUR GOOD DEEDS. POLL SOME people to check.
You guys participate im the commuity and help build small businesses in tne US. I would advertise that quite a bit more.

The noise of the registers is enough to set a tone of irritation. Your ceilings are high and the noise wave bounces back loud. Try a visit toTarget.Same high ceilings but sound waves are softened.
Walmart Management ( some how this may have been missed this in an MBA program-Just my opinion) are you creating an environment where frustration and agitation takes hold? Does this decrease the focus of an employee such that he/she forgets to remove the security device on my purchase?Now this loud noise could be another toxic type factor?
This Wal-Mart is always we'll stocked and it seems like it has more cashier's than other Walmarts. Checkout was fast and the cashier was friendly.
Would sound proofing or more regular insulation help?
I am not writing this out if rage. I thought my insights if by happen stance, could be helpful.
Why do the register's have to "BEEP BEEP" so loud when cashier's scan a thing for the price? Compare it to Target, Dollar Store, or my favorite Homeland; these stores are much quieter. Plus, condider the traffic and congestion.

I only go to Walmart if I have to. The stores are loud.. Now that my son is 21 and has autism, I understand myself a lot more.

Let me state I am in my 50's and the last event was right after I turned 40. My distaste has happened over these years.
You also might check the crime stats for the Walmart you are thinking about going to shop. Many Walmarts have become great places for thiefs to make their days work with the Holidays being their best season.
Now I say I don't like shopping your stores and paint them as bad environment.
And, I doubt it would cost much.
Your investment in SOCIAL CAPITOL is enough to offset a lot of negative while some store design is taken care of. Again, just one person's opinion.
i really do not want this or mean this to be negative.
Retail persons that rely on deliverying the lowest price know if the customer finds it lower next door, then next door it is.
Again, just me with an opinion, I think if Walmart showed more how they help set people up in small business and +, the customer would feel like he/she was at church with the extra penny being like his/her offering. Then he stays there not going next door.
Sound has beem used as weapon. Sound has also been used for therapy and healing.
I think you have lost some of the old culture Sam Walton started his empire with and got him there.
Price is important but thr current Walmart, seems to me'---Just my opinion- is the customer cares only about the price..cut throat r not.
LOUD, LONG LINES TRAFFIC CONGESTION
Well, this is first review of Walmart ever and most likely my last.
Who knows if you turn the volume down on register beeping, with more insulation the return beeps are lower, and less irritated people might strike up conversations/relationships where customers form not just shopping patterns but loyalty as well.
My thinking is work on the enviroment a little more so it fosters the type interaction a clerk says meaning it "How are you? And, Johnny's spelling test?"
