Friday night we stopped here to eat on the way home. Our server was very attentive and kept our glasses full. She even brought my friend some samples of their craft beers. I ordered the fish and shrimp which came with a massive baked potato and three very large shrimp and trip to the salad bar. I ended up taking most of it home to eat later. I would definitely come back again.
Country and Classic, lots of memorabilia on the walls. Salad bar is good and the chicken fried steak is amazing. I have tried their burger and BBQ here and it is also tasty. They have lots of items on their menu but I tend to come here for Chicken Fry and Salad Bar.
My family likes to drive out to Guthrie a few times a year to eat at Stables and do some antique shopping. I like their salad bar and I usually order a BBQ pork sandwich. The spaghetti red is good and easily enough for two people. They have added a full service bar in the back and I really enjoy going back there on a date night or for a late dinner. The service can sometimes be slow but it's a busy place. Give it a try next time you're in Guthrie
Excellent eatery! The KC Strip was cooked to perfection. The bake potato was huge. I especially enjoyed the salad bar as it was quite extensive, continually attended to by staff, and fresh. Very friendly attentive wait staff. Overall great visit and I will return.
Bartender was awesome. Busy for a Wednesday but service was perfect. Many many many beers to choose. No liquor. Food served from adjoining restaurant. Salad is buffet style but fresh. Ribeye was ok wasn't a Prime cut. Spaghetti noodles were over cooked and sauce was bland. Give the place it's a shot cozy atmosphere.
